Just Curious
When we buy a brand new N95, we will receive a phone handset, accessories & manual plus a 1 GB Micro SD card.
I am curious what programs have been installed/copied inside this original Micro SD? Or is it totally empty formatted card?

It is not empty....you can browse it through PC suite or any card reader.

Ooops, its too late madmansam. Mine has been installed many S60 programs so I loose track which is the original.
Suppose I would like to keep my 1GB with its original files as I received from brand new, where I can copy it original content? (My N95 working with 4 GB now).
In case I would like to trade in my phone so I can deliver it like new.

When you format the card it will then have the original folder structure.

Really? I must admit I haven't tried (and I did not get a 1GB card with my N95!) but I would have thought a format would delete everything including the pre-installed software.

it does deletes everything but you'll have those original folder structure.

Ah yes, I see what you're all getting at now, but some of the Micro SD's do in fact come with software, such as Panoman, and at least a few others I forget the names of now, and if you format the card you'll lose the software forever. That was the point I was trying to make. ;)

My N95 never came with a memory card :( Well, I pretty sure it didn't. Was a while ago when I bought the phone. Was sealed in the box too.

I agree with that ..you format the card ..you lost the lot ..nothing left exept the card maker launching tools....Formatting is not advised unless you back up first.
