Nokia N95

I have no "touch screen" no "extra icons" on the bottom of the screen. The website in the Nokia had book references a "Nokia-Asia" website which looks exactly like the US website. It looks exactly like the real thing (I've been researching the fakes for awhile). The "China" things lends me to believe its a knockoff. However, what's with the Asia website? If it's a knockoff, is there anything I can do to get it to be recognized by my computer? Having a hard time with that? Any suggestions?

As stated in the other thread speed21, you have purchased a clone. A better clone than the touch screen variant.

You said you received exactly the same as pictured in the fake thread.

Before we can get it connected to a computer, we really need to know what we are dealing with, however, MT6227, is most certainly a cloned device.

As to connecting to your pc, go into "My Computer", it should show in there as a usb device, but again, Im not certain with this type of clone.

if it's a knockoff you can't use pc suite with it...it's as good as a dummy phone.

I don't want to mislead. It was a gentleman that was selling it and he was very forthright about not know genuine v. fake. I paid $150.00 for it so I don't believe I was "ripped off," but now that I have it, I can't do anything if I can't get my computer to recognize. Any suggestions?

also have you heard anything about this Nokia-Asia website that looks just like the Nokia-USA?

Im afraid we can't offer any further help really due to not supporting cloned handsets.

If I were you, i would approach the gentleman you purchased it from and tell him your findings.

Hi all

Whats wrong with nokia-asia website? Is it Nokia - Asia Pacific ? Mobile Phones, Accessories and Communications if it is, then isnt it the official nokia website for Asia Pacific region? Because when I was in India 3 years ago, that was the website I used for my researches while buying a new phone!! I dont know if you guys are talking about this website!!

That looks like the genuine site to me, however, speedy21 would not share with us the site he mentioned.

OMG are those pictures taken from an Original N95-2? It looks so real.... so convincing.... only thing that gave it away was the menu and BL-5F instead of 6F battery
