Email on the N95
We are currently looking at replacing our existing phones to the SPV M700 on Orange.
The only reason why we did not go with the N95 was because Orange said that the phone was half Windows Mobile and half Symbian and because of this you would not be able to use Microsoft Active Sync to push mail from our Exchange 2003 Server .
My question being, can a 2003 Exchange Server push email out to the N95 using Active Sync like on the SPV?

Do you forward mail from your Exchange Server to GMail?
Do you access GMail on your phones browser or using a email program on the phone?

For me, both.

You can use Road Sync for active push emails. I am using a 30 day free trial right now to test it out before I buy it, but after 10 days I have been very happy. It works perfectly and is very configurable too. I have it set for active push between 8am - 7pm Mon - Fri and then every couple of hours on the weekend, although you can leave it permanently on active push if you wish. Battery usage seems pretty good on ative push so far. I am on Cingular in the U.S. (bought unlocked phone in London) and it works well, interfacing easily with my office MS exchange. I get emails, contacts, calendar, to do, etc.

I configured my phone for Gmail. By doing so it will add one tab for gmail under Messaging. Then I can receive and send emails.

Exchange Server 2003
Greetings everyone, and apologies for asking the same question everyone probably asks.
I know S60 supports ActiveSync, but does the N95+8GB for access to Exchange Server mails and calendars.
Thanks

You need to add an application like Nokia's Mail For Exchange or Intellisync's Roadsync to have full sync between your Exchange server and your device.
From what I understand the Nokia MFE does not sync in-box subfolders.
Question to any that are using Roadsync. When the device receives an email, what type of notification is generated? I also assume that to read the email, you have to use the Roadsync app to read the email. Is that correct? Can you the default mail viewer to read the email?

Thanks for that, I've just found articles about the new release of MfE.
The download URL is
Nokia Business Software Downloads
Thanks again
