international warranty

Hey guys I just wanted to ask something about the international warranty. I bought my N95 from New Horizon and when I ordered it they said that it comes with a one year international. But when I recieved the phone I don't really see a warranty card or anything. Anyone else that ordered from there know anything about the warranty? Is there some sort of registration or anything I need to do on the nokia site to get the warranty? When I recieved the N95 and opened it I saw a card saying that I should register my product. I am wondering is that it or not. If anyone knows any info reggarding the international warranty please let me know.

When I've taken my old N80 into the Carphone Warehouse (not where it was purchased) for a warranty repair they've always insisted on seeing a receipt with the IMEI number on it.

Check the Nokia website for general warranty terms and conditions. I'm not aware of any registration portal apart from Club Nokia, but that's no use for UK Nokia Service Points like the Carphone Warehouse.

Nokia warranty is noramlly region specific, not international.

Like mosts firms, you can't buy in one country, and ship to another and use the warranty.

yep exactly, no international warrenty for most electronics and that includes nokia. also the people u get it from , u can have their international warrenty but not nokia.

Talk to new horizon about it. I think they take the phone and send it for repair wherever necessary.
