Is my N95 8GB Fake?
I purchased a Nokia 8gb used without anything, even battery. I just ordered the battery, so Im waiting for it to arrive in the mail so I can power this baby on to see if there are wifi or gps.
Everything look real; 2.8" screen, no expansion MicroSD slot, no camera lens protector.
But I did notice on the keyboard, there are chinese symbols on some numbers. Under the battery cover, it said "Made by Nokia". Doesnt say what country. Also, it doesnt say "IMEI" anywhere on the sticker. I do see a bunch of numbers on the sticker. Not sure if those are the IMEI #s.
This is the best I can describe it, and I dont have any pics sorry.

Check out this thread **WARNING, Beware of Fake N95 handsets. Quick Hands-on ReView** and also GSi-R's blog, there's lots of info and pictures of fakes, hopefully you will not see yours there. If I had to bet based on your brief description without any photos and additional info I would say it's a fake. What number follows the RM on the sticker in the battery compartment ?

It's RM-320
I read the stickied and found that pics of this clone ( fridaycider - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting) is pretty much like mine n95 8gb except mine has those chinese symbols on the keypad. |

Upon further inspection from what I just learned reading around, I sadly say that I have a fake n95. The thing that gave it away is that camera lens is smaller compare to the genuine version. Im so f*cking mad! |

Sorry to hear that. Could you possibly upload some photos of it at all? Im collecting photos of clones to add to my blog, trying to stop people falling for them.
Where did you purchase it from? Maybe you could get a refund?

Really sad to hear that.Please try to take some pics, at least a shot using the mirror.
