Hi everyone,

Another little question..

On the N95 8gb is there a way of knowing how much you've been on the internet?

I'm on Vodafone and have 500mb of usage which is enough but don't want to go over obviously.

Text "44555" mate.

Although I have a feeling from reading something a while ago, it doesn't include data ?

If it doesn't have you set you account up online with Vodafone ? Not the best service but you can find out that way or just calling as well.


*edit* Also try texting BALANCE to "777"

MENU > TOOLS > LOG > PACKET DATA

That tells you in MB:

- All sent data

- All received data

However this will be total unless you zero it each month or each time your bill arrives, however its not very easy because often you'll never be spot on with the reset.

I'll try the texting and calling, the resetting it each month sounds like it'll be the most accurate.

Dunno whether it'd be worth speaking with Vodafone and seeing if they can give you a more accurate date for each month.

I thought you called 44555 and received a text message, the last time I tried it I never got the text through, the last time it did work it didn't include data.

You can get your data usage by logging on to their website, or by calling 191.

All these methods can be up to 72 hours out of date though.

Set yourself a monthly reminder to reset the packet data counter, and use that.
