Hi andykn,

I got the below when I did a *#0000#

V 10.0.018
15-03-07
RM-159
Nokia N95 (D1.01)

Reckon the D1.01 was what you were talking about above?

Checked the site to debrand the N95.. i ain't sure which code I should be following?
I live in Sydney, AU, but the N95 was purchased outright in Singapore. I am with Vodafone AU too.

0534833 SINGAPORE
0536087: Australia
0534835: Australia

The three codes above should be pertaining to my upgrade, however which one should I go??

thx

I'd pick one of the two Australia ones. I suspect that there's two the same way the Euro ones all have two - one for each colour. I expect you'll get the same Operator Variant of firmware whichever of the two Product Codes you use.

First, hi! This is my first post.

Secondly, I just tried updating to firmware 11 on the off-chance - I'm on T-Mobile in the UK - and it worked!

So hopefully other people will find there are more brand-specific updates available now.

Am I going to loose them? Does anyone know how I can back them up?

Edit- Oh well. I got about half way through writing them all down, and the phone rebooted on me. I guess it doesn't give you a heads up when between downloading an update and installing it. Freaked me out at first, I thought it crashed while I was using the browser- the warning not to disconnect or restart the phone scared me until I saw the progress bar moving. Guess I'll find out if it keeps the bookmarks now.

There... just got the notification that it's done. :)
So did you update it successfully?!
Wow 23 apps?! What are they?! Care to share?! ;) :D

I'm with Orange UK as well.. ugh why is it taking so long for them to release an update?! I want all the new updates **** it.

I'm not going to debrand as don't want to void warranty.. however I called Orange today and asked them about firmware and they said they have nothing to do with it and its all done by Nokia.

And you're worried they'll spot you've changed your Product Code if you need to claim under warranty?

I reckon I've had at least 5 versions of the Nokia Software Updater since it was released. You'll have to post which version you now have.
