how to transfer music onto n95-3

Just want to know how to transfer music files to my nokia nn-95 3. Can i just directly transfer mp3 files from my pc? or do i have to transfer them to another file format?
I tried puttint the micro sd card in my PC card reader and dragging and pasting mp3 files but the files are not readable by the music player on the n95???

You could try transferring the mp3's across to your phone using pc suite, and select from the pop up window to convert to mobile optimised format.

Thats weird, ALL of my songs are still in mp3 format and work/transfer fine.

What firmware does your N95 have?

I just drag and drop via mass storage/data transfer.
