call forwarding (shortcut)

hi everyone,

i'm new to the forums and have found a lot of great information here. I purchased a n95 8gb about a month ago and have been very happy to date. I had a hard time choosing between this and the iphone... but in the end... the gps, camera/video were the features that help make the decision easier for me... not to mention the fact that i got the phone free with my provider.

i have one question... is there an easier way to enable call forwarding (divert)... i usually have to hit settings > phone > call forwarding > activate > select number just to enable it...

is it possible to create a shortcut (or a couple of shortcuts) to forward the phone to different numbers or disable it...
a shortcut on the active standy screen would be great...

anybody have any ideas??? i wasn't able to find much info on this request...

sorry if i posted this in the wrong section... .

thanks for the quick response...

I tried that application already but the problem with that application is the call divert feature only runs if the phone is on and acm is running...

I'd like it to use the n95 system forwarding feature... as I can turn the phone off but calls will still be forwarded to my home number... acm won't forward calls if the phone is off...

are there other apps that might use the n95s system forward feature...

You can move the "settings" menu choice up to where it is only one click away from the standby screen. I don't *think* you can create a shortcut to "activate". I'll follow this 'cause I've had this problem for 9 months now.

You need to contact your network operator to find out their *# network code for diverting a call.

There will be one for diverting a call and one for cancelling the divert.

Then you just need to set up two contacts (one to set & one to cancel) and set them to a speed dial each.

One key to enable & one key to reset!
