Having a rotated screen while the slider have the numeric keys out
Hi!
When playing games or doing anything that requires more keys, it would be great to be able to use the numeric keys while the screen are rotated, so you can hold the phone sideways. But as you know, the screen will rotate back to normal when you slide out the numeric keys.
The only way I found to do this is to connect a bluetooth keyboard, and press F8 or F7 to rotate the display as I wish when the slider is in the wanted position.
I suppose that there are some software available for this that can adjust the rotation of the display, but I havn't found anything.
Do anyone know of a way to do this?
Thanks!

I listen If you slide just a part or the nomeric keypad the screen stays in landscape mode...
It's a little tricky, but works...

Not quite good enough
It's somewhere between not easy and impossible to use the upper keys (1,2,3) while doing this, and while gaming it is not so easy to take care of not sliding the last 0.25 mm, but it may be useful if it is enough to use the rest of the keys :)
If only the phone had built in F7 and F8 keys ;)
I guess it would be easy enough to create a symbian application which will do the job, and maybe even map up some hardware keys on the phone for it too (when you know how to program any symbian at all, that is).

try setting your date back a year before installing then back again afterwards... there's a way of signing it yourself but takes about half an hour... do a search on the forums for symbiansigned

The web browser has an option in the options menu called "Rotate screen" which does this. However, this is the only built-in app I've seen so far with such an option.
