Chinese Characters

Just brought a the phone, and its an amazing little gadget.

I am having problems with the phone displaying chinese characters, when i recieve sms message or the file names under the icon.

Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

What version of the phone do you have?
Note that only asia specific models support chinese characters.
Check your product code against a list of regions to see which model you have.

i brought the phone in Indonesia and there there is only 3 languages available, english, Indonesian and pilipino. Is there any way to add the chinese traditonal to that list, or if there is a 3rd party add on? thx

There is a way to add chinese language to the phone, but it's not very easy. I'll try to find the information on it- it was some time ago that I rad across it.

yeah.. i was also wondering how to add encoding to web pages when viewing foreign pages (not necessarily chinese).

if you want to add more languages to a phone, you have to flash it to that specific region, theres heaps of topics about it, search around and there will be step by step instructions~
