Talking How long does initial battery charge take to complete?

Sorry for the stupid thread but I can't wait to fire this puppy up

depends how pre-charged the battery is I guess? Mine probably took an hour... maybe slightly more

Yeah it was about an hour for me too.

Love this phone. Nokia e61 was easier to type on, but you can't beat the features of n95.

the stores recomend a charge of 6 hors, but...I am not sure

about 2 hours is enough 4 a N95-1, 2,5 hour for N95-2:) after the " battery low " warning:)

Bear in mind phone bateries are no longer like the ones of old. Once the phone says its charged, its charged.

No more of that charging overnight for a new battery business.

I agree with Bartmanekul,when it's charged--that's it,you shouldn't leave it connected to the charger longer than necessary.My first charge took as long as all the others,about an hour and half.

It shouldn't really need charging before you use it.

Li-ion batteries are best stored with around 60% charge, so usually that's how they arrive, and so are ready to go out of the box.
