Branded Flash

I have just flashed my 95 with the original voda code using NSS as I intend taking it back to the shop because of a fault with the mic when recording videos.
I changed to the generic 0536062 code for the v11 update which worked fine now i have flashed it with the original code for when the v12 update comes out. However when I plugged it into NSU it updated the NSU software and then asked if I wanted to reinstall the v11 update and I clicked yes.

It appears that I now have a voda branded phone again but I didnt think this was possible? I thought it wouldnt change until a FW update? I dont have internet phone anymore so Im fairly sure it has worked, I also have loads of game demos!

The latest version of Nokia Software Updater lets you reinstall the latest version whether you change the product code or not. But it will still read your Product Code to determine what Operator Variant of firmware to download.

I expect the logic goes something like:
NSU: What is the product code of the phone?
A: 'voda code'
NSU: look up the latest firmware for this code
A: 11.0.027 (Vodafone have probably released v11 since you tried)
NSU: What is the phone's version?
A: 11.0.027
NSU: Both the same so offer reinstall.
A: Yes
NSU: Reinstall accepted, download firmware for product code 'voda code' and install.
