This guy is lying to you,i know of a few people with 4gb cards and their handsets haven't blown up!
I would get one myself but i'm gonna wait for the 8gb card,or the 8gb N95....what ever comes first!

I have a 4gb microsd card in my n95 for over a week and it didn't blow. Somewere in this forum it is said that the n95 will be able to use up to 32gb cards.

I would not worry about that. Several owners are using the 4gb card without problems. I went from a 1 gb to a 2gb and then a 4gb, without any problems.

It is, even, working faster.

Get yourself a class 4 card, like the one below (which I'll be purchasing next pay day).

4GB micro sd card Integral Micro-SDHC

It has a faster read/write speed than the Sandisk class 2 cards

Is a Class 4 device actually any faster in an N95, though?

My Class 2 device is very fast when fastened directly to my PC using a crad reader but is much, much slower when using it via the phone. I suspect the phone is the limiting factor and a Class 4 will be no faster than a Class 2 in the phone.

That said, how fast does it need to be in the phone? Even writing video footage is only about 0.5MB/s.

In fairness I've no idea in a "real world scenario", but on paper a 4MB/s card should be twice as fast to write data to as a 2MB/S card.

However, the speed gain in writing to the phone would be unimportant to me. I will be loading my films/audio from my pc to the card via a USB reader, and that is where I'd be looking to save the time personally.
