Incorrect Memory Size

Under Memory Details (Card) the Total Memory In Use reports a higher (by ~150mb) than the actual sub-category combined size. Any idea how to rectify to regain the "lost" (~150mb) memory?

Possibly lost space due to the cluster size under FAT16

Use a card reader to copy everything from the card to a folder on your/a PC hard drive then format the card using FAT32 and copy everything back.

You will still have some wasted space but my file system usage went down by 10% (around 100MB) by formatting FAT32

Homer,
Are there any hidden files that I should be aware of when copying from 'card' to 'pc' ?

As long as you have explorer set to view hidden files then "select all" you'll be OK, I've done it this way twice.

thanks for your suggestion. attempted but unable to reformat, write and delete file on card due to error "write protected". possibly a dodgy micro-sd adapter or card ready not sensing the lock/unlock switch.
