Not that im too bothered whether this works on my phone as i dont really require it but just out of interest, is any body else finding that it doesnt work, i have tried several times just to test it and never got a result?

anyone else spotted this?

It works fine. Make sure you are scanning 2D barcodes...it will not scan 1d barcodes (the series of vertical lines). Google 2d barcodes to find out what they are.

I've just tried it on mine and it does scan a 1d code. Just scanned the back of an apple juice carton from Tesco !

I have to admit, it's very fiddly though. It took a good 30 seconds of faffing around before it read the code.

Just a short barcode number e.g. 1-345543-2

are you sure it doesn't scan 1-D ? I've tried it on a juice carton...seems to scan it, but i'm not sure what it is suppose to do afterwards...

im not sure about u guys.. but after everytime i scan any barcode, the barcode app jst exits itself automatically..

Have been trying to get my N95-3 to use the barcode reader... no luck.
Tried it out on 1D and 2D barcodes and nothing. Sometimes it just continuously scans other times the application just closes out.

I am holding the phone steady over the barcode and can see the image on the screen. Am I missing or doing something wrong? Thanks.
