Then the new version of N95-1 will probably be something like 13.0.0xx

For us to see a firmware with all improvements presented in 21.0.001, we'll have to wait until the second half of 2008 i think.
If the next version has at least demand paging, it would be cool. The "Discover N-gage" application will probably be there, once the gaming platform is going to be released next month.
YouTube support is one of the features i think won't be implemented.
best regards

Did anyone notice anything new with text messaging? Do we have timestamps and date sent right on the message or do we still have to click "Message Details"? Is that "Conversations" app that was being tested implemented into it? (Conversations appears as a tab while in Contacts.)
I have an N95-3 but just curious!

Thanks for the information. So if the estimated time is 2-4 weeks, what would be the range of dates? (Around when)

ummm... if its 2-4 weeks away I would just estimate? I don't think there's a firm date range, it could always change.

Sorry if this has already been asked in this thread, but I got bored of looking through 13 pages
People on different forums keep saying the new version is on WRT ("Web Runtime") and RDA ("Remote Device Access"), and one person even stretched themselves to say "it's on the Nokia Research website"... how can we get onto RDA and try this firmware out, I'm not understanding whether this is a sort of developer-only area or what.

Let me clear things up..
The RDA is part of Nokias developement tools made initially for developers, but anyone and everyone has access to it providing they are a registered user at Forum Nokia`

Thanks for the link, Gizmoratty! OK, so just to check - I've gone on there and reserved a time slot for tomorrow 4:15 until 5:00 (GMT)... so tomorrow I just go back on that link and click start RDA?! By the way, if anyone wants anything checked out I'll do so, I'm probably going to record me fiddling anyways!
One final thing - the credits system, how does that work? Do I have 40 credits on my account and that's it once that's run out, or do I get my credits back after my reserved time runs out (so basically it just stops someone reserving it forever!)
This service seems too cool for me to have not known about it till now!!

Yes that's right Java - And your credits get topped up every day, so yes it's just a way to cap a limit on each individuals use
