So Gizmoratty I dont have to actually do anything to change my phone before I update, I just chuck that code in instead of my own, and update?

Just started my update, currently downloading. Can not wait until I get it full complete. I used the Euro 1 [Sand] code, given by Giz. However I should have used the plum code.

Just updated, I got a error during the update and I had to take the battery in and out and restart it, good thing it didn't fry it this time ( I fried a S-E trying to update firmware ).
What is that code for?
When I updated mine it doesn't ask for any code.
And too bad they didn't fix the message detail bug for text messages, the time is still messed up =(

Don't worry, it won't make any difference unless you intend on breaking it and getting it fixed under the warranty - But then you can always change it again if needed ;D |

The code is a product code,you can change the code on your phone to de-brand it so you can then have a new generic firmware if one's available,as their is.
