Question Infrared = Wiimote

Curious anyone talk about screwing around with a Wii and the N95, since it already has infrared on it, does anyone else think that would be funny to make a N95 Wiimote? Or even anyone like the idea, I know it's not praticle but it could be good for something.

If there's a post on this or something similar someone link it cause I couldn't find one, and I'll post there.

Before you reply with the hate, know that you saying no you're an idiot, or why don't you go and make a program for it and shut up, or something along those lines, please note that it is possible to do it, and know if you flame you like men. or incase you are a female you were one of the two girls frrom 2 girls 1 cup. LOL

Yes, the application the Respider mentions is the only relation of such a thing to the Wii that I have heard of

This may disappoint you, but I understand that the wiimote has an infrared camera, the n95 has a much simpler IR sensor.

It's quite probable that the N95 camera(s) will pick up the IR from the Wii sensor bar so it might be possible.

unfortunately it also picks up regular light, so it would be near impossible to single out the wii's light bar sensor from every thing else on screen.

but if you havent seen, there are many amazing things that can be done with a wiimote:

Perhaps the next version of Nokmote could have a Wii connetion interface. But I wouldn't like being hit buy or throwing my N95 lol.

A tip for better sensitivity for your Wiimote is to remove the sensor bar and replace it with 2 lit candles.
