Avi Conversion help

Rite guys, looking for help, im loosing the will to live trying to convert an AVI to mp4 for my N95. Im using Any Video Convertor and its set to the correct type yet my N95 doesnt play it....

anyone any ideas why? Is there a file size/video length limit on the phone?

Make sure you convert the video to the correct format (MP4 - H.264)

If you have Quicktime installed (Just a popular application off the top of my head), I believe you can convert the MP4 files you have already made into this format

What about trying a different application?
I used for my mobile Smartmovie incl. the convertor and it works like a charm.
Only had last time an error message about missing Xvid Codec, but re-installation fixed it.

i use winavi to convert videos but i use divx to watch them.

if i re-encode (which isnt often) I use erightsoft super. Encode anything to anything

I use Any Video Converter all the time, select 'Mobile Phone MPEG-4 (*.mp4)' for your output and accept all the default settings.

Never had a problem.
