Refresh for images?

Hi, another post, another problem and I've only had the bloody thing since Friday!!

My N95 8GB was not detecting all the music I added to it, so I followed the steps in another thread to get it to re-detect all the tracks. This helped a little but it still refuses to detect some albums (is it designed to ignore all Tori Amos albums?), the music is there when you look via a PC but the phone says no.

Anyway, I decided to live with this problem, but now find that all the images on the phone are now not being detected, although again they are there via PC and also via the phones own 'Tools/File Manager'.

Question is this - is there a way to 'refresh' the image library as you would the music library (hopefully a bit better than the music refresh!!!)?

thanks in advance....starting to have my doubts/regrets.....

This is one option that you might like to try?

*#7780# .......... Factory Reset

Note:
Factory Reset resets all settings to defaults but keeps any applications you have installed and photos etc. Both need the Security code, which, by default, is 12345.

Well I tried the factory reset, still no joy - won't refresh all music and still the pictures are missing. Worst of all its not showing any new pictures either.

Any advice anyone before this thing goes back to the shop (or to the wall!!)!!?

The next step is a Hard-Reset *#7370# ... This will restore the phone to the condition that it was in when new... So backup your contacts and restore ONLY your contacts when it's reset, then you'll have to build the phone up again from scratch. It won't alter anything on your memory card, though I'd STRONGLY advise you to format your card in the phone before doing the reset.

It'll wipe everything from the phone (not the memory card, although I'd advise you to format that and start again), that wasn't there when it left the factory, your MP3's for sure, I can't say about the movie though, I'd guess at probably, yes.
