Do you transfer the music in 'Mass Storage' mode or 'PC Suite' mode?
Have you updated your phone to the latest available firmware?

I have never used the nokia music manager. I always connect in data storage mode and transfer straight from my music folder on my PC to the sounds 'digital' folder on my memory card and have never had a song play up or skip. And i always keep them in mp3 format.

Well not me personally, the built in one works fine for me.

I have tried LGC Jukebox and that is really good.
And alot of guys on this forum swear by Core player which you can download here

Can i ask what fixed your problem exactly?

what exactyly fixed it? no idea.
i just did what you said you did. moved evrything to the sounds section via connection 'mass storage'. songs dont skip anymore. i did notice tho that if you transfer via the nokia music manager.. it converts the files and usually compresses them aswell. im thinking theres something wrong in the compression/decompression of the music player on the phone or the software program.

but i really dont like the music player.. just seeems pretty weak for what it could be.
