please help 3 have charged me a

load of cash for using the sat nav software. Is there any way to use the nokia maps without getting charged by 3 mobile .

download the maps to the phone, turn off network connectivity and just use the internal GPS

don't use agps because it needs an internet connection.

Yes, just have a tick next to "Integrated GPS" and untick the other options.

The amount of data used with AGPS is negligible. I wouldn't turn it off because it'll take forever to get a sat lock on.

Just disable network access in the software options. This is the main cause of huge bills, because the app downloads the maps over the air. Instead, download Nokia Maps Loader and put the maps directly onto your card yourself.

Hi Hayabusa where will i find the page to tick "intergrated gps" . I now have nokia maps v2

AGPS is not the problem, it requires just a few kb per session but maps are problem, better preload it on the card than get it over the air if you haven't unlimited data plan of course.

if you have downloaded the maps then you should be ok.

Well all i can say is that on my phone it dosent take forever to get a sat lock...even with agps turned off.
