Hey I have a question, Does the access point "Rogers Internet" cost money when you use it for your GPS? And if not, how do I recreate it because I accidentally deleted the access point; do I have to call my service provider and ask for instructions??

Rogers internet uses real internet, stay away. use go rogers. Better yet get $7 unlimited wap browsing and use go rogers as access point for all apps that need internet connection.

Hmm, will there follow a link to an ebay page now, with the tomtom patch being sold? Perhaps not now I have said it ;)

Im just suspicious. 2 first time posters, posting on an old thread that has little to do with Tomtom (when theres dozens of threads that do), and the first non poster said nothing about having it working on the internal GPS....

You _have_ _to_ actually PHONE Rogers and tell them to disconnect (block) you from ALL Internet access.

If you don't do that AND you do use the Internet it IS your fault - and you will be charged. Most apps. will try to connect and some can't be shut off but if you get yourself blocked then they can not charge you, if you don't get yourself blocked your taking a chance a getting a bill well over a few hundred dollars.
