Very soon according to the website where you download the new maps version, its nearly done in beta with considerable bug-fixes for this new version.

I've only just uploaded to V2 beta, because it seemed that the ability to show routes had been dropped, unless you handed Nokia a load of cash. I don't know whether it has just reappeared in the latest release or whether it's just too well hidden to be obvious. Anyway...
Type in a postcode or some address details into the search box at the bottom of the main screen. In the results list, scroll to the one you want (if a postcode, there should only be one!) and select it. This will bring up a menu giving you choices as to how you want to use this location. If you select "Drive to" or "Walk to", you will end up using the pay-for-it full navigation package. Instead, select "Add to route". This will take you to a screen where you can edit your destination or change your travel mode. When you've made any changes you want, press "Options" and then "Show route". The program will then calculate your route and show it on the map. You can then use the up and down keys to step through the route. If you manually move away from the route (by using the left/right keys for example), just move the cursor back onto the route, where it will 'snap' into place.

Well, the Australian update has gone to hell in a handbasket!.. rivers and water don't show properly, zoom levels show different maps and it is basically meant that I am now wasting money on my navigation license until they update the maps again!

wolfcat, my maps seem fine. havent had any abnormalities yet.
am still disappointed that nokia havent added what seems to be the basic function of tracking other than 'facing north'. you have to have a route planned for it to point the map in the right direction. really poor i feel for a navigation prog. also the route planning is still a little out.
