Lightbulb Draw out and plan GPS route?

Just wondering.........
i'm taking my N95 more and more with me on my bike trips around the neighbourhood, and i plan to explore certain parts i havent been to.

Now where i live is a little remote.
So i'm wondering if i can plan out a route, say on Google maps. After that draw or trace out the exact route, and then use some satnav software like Garmin to give me the directions while i cycle. Is this possible?

Sports Tracker can track your cycling route and upload to Google maps where you can see the route you traveled as well as the distance and speed

Wizzy, i'm looking for somehting that's the opposite process. Plan out a route on GOogle maps, then navigate that route on my N95. Any ideas?

The copilot live PC software can do that. Create a route onscreen, and then upload it to the device.

Are you on about proper roads though (not sure if you mean mountain bike etc), and would you want a satellite view?

Sounds really Cool bart, thanks. does that have support for Malaysia?
My routes are quite remote, not exactly mountain biking, more like countryside roads. Some are less 2 feet wide while some are 1 metre, but i try avoiding the mains.

Yes i want to draw it out from satelite view (trace the roads visible from satelitle view) and then navigate.

Is it possbile?

Ah, if thats the case then I dont know what to suggest.

First off, I dont know anything that offers satellite view bar Google, (and MSN maps).

Second, if its not along proper roads (or the software doesnt recognise it as proper roads), it will not be able to plan it.

Id suggest looking into google maps more, perhaps theres a way you can input 'breadcrumbs'. But I cant see you being able to do this from the PC.

Is it possible to download the route data as an XML file in Google maps or MGMaps?

Question is, first can you make the route via that without doing it first?
