it's interesting how it hasn't made it into the graduates section of the betalabs site yet... I guess they just haven't updated it...

Assume I should uninstall the pre-installed Maps 1 from my N95-8gb first rather than installing over version1?

Apperently the N95 version was the wrong one put up yesterday, so anyone getting errors try again.
And yes, best to uninstall any old versions first, even the betas of 2.

EDIT - Just read it again and seen you have an 8gigger.... from what I've seen there has been some probs with the 8g, and apparently this is the best version..... http://url.ie/ef2 (goes direct to the download)

Its now a known issue that psiloc connect affects nokia maps 2. Specifically the error:
application closed: PosServer KERN-EXEC 3
Psiloc are working on an update.

I'm well chuffed. It's found a pub that I've never come across before, less than a mile from where I live. It's the Elm Park Tavern, in Elmpark Gardens, Selsdon, south London. Bizarrely, they seem to have knocked it down and replaced it with 1960s suburban houses during the time it took me to get there. Now, shall I replace my shortcut to Google maps with one for Nokia maps? Hmmm...

This question might sound dumb but...
Can someone confirm that along with the map application v2.0, there are also new maps (ie: map data). The Nokia site kind of hints at it but doesn't seem to explicitly state this. The map loader tells me there are new maps available, but then again, it always states this.
Thanks,
