Neither do I but I found another FREE route method that makes "Start Navigation" / "Start Simulation" show up.

1.): Zoom in (or out) so that the streets are still labeled (but just barely, IE: one more zoom out and you loose the labels).

2.): Find a "baby blue" rectangle. It will be a 'popular' place.

3.): Move the crosshair exactly over the rectangle (you may need to zoom in).

4.): When you are in the correct position the rectangle will highlight. If you get close the map will move to help you position on the point.

5): Click the button in the center of the scroller to choose the rectangle.

6.): Now the "Use this place" menu will popup.

7.): Choose "Route to" and on the empty "From" click again, now choose "GPS Position".

8.): Now you have free routing from where you are to the 'popular' place (which should be NEAR where you want to go).

9.): Scroll down to "To" and click on it, choose "From Map" and scroll from the 'popular' place to the ACTUAL location on the map that you really want to goto.

10.) Now you have Navigation from EXACTLY where you are to EXACTLY where you want to go.

11.): Choose "Options" and (depending on carrier, where you live, version, etc.) you get the options for "Start Navigation" / "Start Simulation"
(which I did NOT have prior to doing these complicated steps).

12.): If you get the same 'deal' I did and choose "Start Navigation" you get a three day FREE trial. You can try "Start Simulation" too.

Hope that helps,
Bload
