Nokia maps2 route

Hi

I recently upraded my Nokia maps to v2, on 1.3 I could do a route and it would be shown on the screen. I understand that it isn't the full voice nav service etc without subscription. However, after upgrading to v2, it dosn't seem to work, even if I ask it to route to the bottom of the road, it says no route available.

Can anyone clarify please if I should be able to build and view a route in v2, without subscription.
