Cant Get Lock (was-Should i return N95 to O2?)
Have been outside today in wide open space for nearly an hour trying to get GPS lock!!No lock at all!! Had phone for about a month and not had any GPS lock.Should i return phone or can i try anything else first??I have full insurance,will i have to wait for it to be sorted or will it be replaced on same day? thanks in advance guys!!!

Are you standing near any tall buildings when trying for the lock?
And be sure to have the keypad open at all times.
Also what firmware do you have,as the latest has assisted GPS which helps with connecting.

what program are you using for the GPS lock?
For best results ensure you positioning methods (settings/general/positioning) are set to all except bluetooth.
Also set the acces point in the server section and make sure the address is supl.nokia.com

I went to one of the highest points in Leicestershire with nothing around me.I have set assisted gps etc,my firmware is O2 v12.0.013.My access address is O2 mms,mobile web or O2 wap.Thank you.

I can lock within 10 seconds now, took nearlly 40mins the 1st time

Hi jkoppee.Have read most of your must read posts the gps one several times,my symbian gps advice and nokia gps advice!!I still cant get a lock!! I cant find anything obvious that i am doin wrong. Even tried running maps and gps together like someone else on site suggested.
