Its all very pretty and all...but have they improved the routing?

Yep, appaently there have been improvements to the on-road navigation too! We should see this very soon people, I'll keep things posted up here :D

I seriously hope they have improved the routing, I tried it before and it had no clue what it was doing. It used to generate some really strange routes, like instead of turning left at the end of my street it would tell me to turn right and drive almost a mile up to the motorway junction and then go all the way around the roundabout and back down again and past where I started.

That alone would be an improvement LOL

LOL that exact same thing happened to me yesterday while testing it.
Hopefully these sought of quirks have been fixed.

It is not unique to Nokia Maps though. Other sat nav systems do it too on some occasions. I have no idea why though.

Bound to be in the new few weeks or so - A semi-public beta release like this suggests it's only going to be subjected to 'tweaking'
