With added features such as the pedestrian mode and satellite maps, this is certainly a huge improvement over the current version.

By the way, shouldn't this thread be under the GPS sub-forum instead of "third-party-apps"?

Any idea if it'll finally support speed cameras (that would be nice allong with traffic infos), via POIs or even a paying service (what garmin xt does) ?
GPS solution with no speed camera is just so stupid...

Good point mate! I'll see if I can ask him - I would like to see that back too :)

Edit: Ok, nope.. No Tracking feature :(

I doubt we'll see it return any time soon if it's not here now - Nokia must have their own reasoning behind taking it away

Thats terrible! For me it was really an integral part of the software. Brilliant for walking. I dont care how snazzy looking the new maps app is, id rather have the old one with the original functionality.

Oh well i suppose id better get my wallet out and buy a replacement...

uhmm...
I just wish they would add real maps of Israel already (considering the fact the TeleAtlas has a fully detailed map of Israel on their site)...

Unfortunately, it seems that most of Asia is going to be left out . Nokia havn't made any sort of indication that they might be including it any time soon :(
