What a brilliant solution!
So, faced with the problem that sliding components don't fit together closely enough, rather than decreasing the distance between the two components by packing the securing bracket, he cures it by wedging them apart with a piece of tape in the gap... What a truly amazing grasp of engineering technology, this guy is wasted, he should be working for the Nokia slider-design team... He'd definitely fit in well there!
I modified my
N95 well over a year ago, by packing the slider track-securing bracket... and it's still functioning perfectly... without a piece of sticky-tape visible on the back of the phone! ;)
