the rail got a ****ing "+" screwdriver... is this normal? i trought it were T5

I am in need of the philips screw driver size that was used in this mod. None of mine fit the small silver screws that mount the plate, they are not torx...

I used the one minute fix - using a tiny piece of tape !

Ignore the audio just watch where he puts the tape - half way through the clip .

It worked for me - EASY !!

What a brilliant solution!

So, faced with the problem that sliding components don't fit together closely enough, rather than decreasing the distance between the two components by packing the securing bracket, he cures it by wedging them apart with a piece of tape in the gap... What a truly amazing grasp of engineering technology, this guy is wasted, he should be working for the Nokia slider-design team... He'd definitely fit in well there!

I modified my N95 well over a year ago, by packing the slider track-securing bracket... and it's still functioning perfectly... without a piece of sticky-tape visible on the back of the phone! ;)

To be honest if you use black tape its hardly visible at all !
