Broken LCD screen, which screwdriver?

So basically I broke my screen the other day and am now in need of a replacement screen. I've so far been able to find it, but my problem is which screwdriver to use to open up the the screen. I've seen places saying to use the T5 and T6 screwdriver. Does it matter which one is used? Thanks :)

A good quality T5 will do the job to remove the 4 x torx screws. Before you even try and undo the screws, make sure the driver is firm in the screw head, and that there is no play.

I have recently purchased a T5.5 Torx, and found it to be slightly too big, but was under the impression T5.5 was the correct Torx, maybe I had a bad one, I don't know.

Anyway, a good quality T5 screwdriver will be fine, but as said, make sure its a snug fit, and make sure you apply a little pressure pushing down when undoing the screws.

You will also need a nylon tool for prising the side clips out too, but if you have long fingernails, they will do. Its just to prevent any damage to the front cover.

Oh, and welcome to the forums.!

Thanks for the quick replay. That clears up any doubts I had over the screwdriver. I've lurked around the forums for a bit since getting my n95, but haven't needed to bug anyone until now, so thanks for the welcome.
