N95 8gb Screen/Slider - Will it fit the N95-1?

As above really.

I would like to keep the shutter and memory card slot so aint too bothered about the 8gb phone. I do however like the bigger screen.

So, will the parts fit? I mean to change the whole slider with LCD, keypad and cover etc.

Anyone have any experience of stripping both these phones?

Please only post if you have any relavant experience, rather than hearsay or guestimations.

Yes, but with a bigger screen Id hate the see the battery drain on it. Unless you get the bigger back and battery, its only 950 which will last even less.

Really cba with people like that. Instead of a simple 'Ah right, ok' or 'Oh yeah, your right' he goes to silly lengths to argue the point.

Still, that thread will be of interest once again when Yade gets the parts.

I did have the idea of hunting for pictures of the N95 and N95 8GB with the fronts off. That way you could at least get a vauge idea as to if it might work.
