phone crashes when pressed

i recently had the face plate changed on my n95. and after that the phone keeps restarting in the pocket.
i tried to experiment a little and found that, whenever i pressed the top left corner of the face (where the nokia n95 logo is) the screen would get stuck and the phone would restart.

could you help me,

Could there be any debris at all under there from when you changed the faceplate?
Maybe even across two circuits and shorts them when pressure applied.

No nothing like that. i took it back to the guy who did the initial alterations, and he put a small piece of tape on the ribbon cable. This seemed to have resolved the problem, but when i took it back, i got the problem back. Although, it seems to have been shifted this time.

NOW, when i press the top edge of the earpiece, i get the same problem again. the phone screen shows some blurring lines and then it hangs and restarts itself.
