N95-1 pictures and ringtone problems

I just got an n95 3 days ago, and I've read that when I'm setting up ringtones i should be able to see all the music files inside the tones menu. Instead when I'm selecting a ringtone it only shows the ones the n95 came with and the Download button. I've tried searching on the internet and this site but I can't find out why. Also I'm not using a memory card atm so its not because i've got like 800 songs on a microsd.
Second problem is that whenever I take a picture I can only view it in the lifeblog... not the pictures folder in the gallery.

Last thing I've upgraded to the newest FW

do u have many music files in ur phone as well?? tht might be the problem then, or if it doesn't work do a factory restore and then try it. for info on factory restore hit the tips tab on the top of this page.

When this happens to me i just re-boot the handset,works for me.

So i've restored to factory settings, and the problems are still here, I still can't access pictures from the image folder in the gallery. To view pictures in the gallery, do they have to be inside a Micro SD??
Also I only had like 4 songs, and 2 ring tones in my phone
+____+ I'm getting rather annoyed at this phone and I don't have the manual and such so I can't refer to it
