Nokia N95

Hello,

I've had my N95 for a couple months and am now experiencing a problem with it. It won't turn on! The battery is fully charged, when I turn the phone on I get the White screen with Nokia in Blue, but that is as far as I get. The phone seems to freeze at that screen. I have to remove the battery in order to get rid of that screen. I tried taking the battery out and putting it back in but that doesn't seem to help..any suggestions?

Take it to the network store that you got it from... If it's SIM free, try your nearest Nokia care centre.

try pressing *, 3, and green button while turning your phone on and wait till it asks for the country...this is a hard reset so you'll lose everything in your phone's memory.

Hard reset worked, but I lost all my contact information from my contacts. is there a way to save contact entry to your SIM card?

Anyone have any ideas on why or how this 'lockout' seems to happen? Would rather it didn't happen again, thanks for the prompt responses.

Sorry for my comment before! Seems like the reset worked a treat...

I would use content copier to back everything up...

Hi

Please can you help.. I have the same problem.. My phone worked fine until today when my friend asked me to put his Nokia N95 8gig phone's sim on the same network into my phone as he cracked his screen..

Then when he put my sim back in i just get a white screen with the blue nokia writing..

I tried the hard reset but still nothing..

Please please help..
