Help! Phone won't turn on..

A few months ago (in about April), my Nokia N95 stopped working completely. It wouldn't turn on, I tried charging it and I searched it on the internet and tried some of the techniues I found but they didn't work either. So I looked on the Nokia website and discovered that I could send it to be fixed, so I sent it back to Nokia for repair.

I was happy when I got it back but it still wouldn't turn on so I charged it and I still had no response. I used my sister's charger and it still didn't work so I sent it back to Nokia again.

I got it back after a long wait hoping to use my phone again but it wouldn't turn on so i bought a new battery and at first it worked for a little bit then I decided to charge it up and then it stopped working.

I was getting very fustrated by now so I sent it back to Nokia again and they claimed to have fixed it but when I got it back it still didn't work so I rang up the Nokia helpline and they just said to send it back again so I did.

When I got it back, it still didn't work with either battery or charger so I rang up Nokia and they said to send it back and this write a ntoe with it and it will definitely be fixed this time so I optimistically sent it back but when I got it back, it still didn't work.

I decided to buy another battery so I went to Carphone Warehouse and bought an official BL-5F battery and I put it on charge for the night and the charging symbol was on there but when I woke up in the morning the charging symbol had gone and the phone was unresponsive so I took the battery back and got a replacement (yesterday) and bought a new charger.

I plugged my phone in the charger as soon as I got back and it appeared to be charging. It got to midnight so I decided to see why my phone was taking so long to charge so I turned it on and it said 'low battery' so I unplugged it asnd it had one bar so I immidiately plugged it back on and turned the phone off. When I turned it off, it just said Nokia so I left it charging for the night. When I woke up this morning, I checked and it wouldn't turn on!!

I am getting very fed up now, I have sent it for repair on numerous occassions, each time they claim to fix or repair it but it still doesn't work. I've tried 3 different chargers and 4 batteries!

Sounds like a short inside of the phone which is blowing your batteries and/or chargers. If Nokia keep sending it back claiming it's fixed etc. I'd contact consumer advice. Are they charging you for anything (excl. postage)? If they are, then you have every right to demand refunds and costs, but if the "repairs" were free, then not much can be claimed.

I'd try and speak to a manager at the service centre, get their name and mail it directly to him/her making sure you include all correspondence and receipts for all purchases and repairs.
