UGGG, My Display isn't working after buying two

Hey everyone, my N95 which is about 6 months old I started having problems with the display about 1 and 1/2 weeks ago. I was web browsing and noticed the screen flickering and then turned upside down for a moment then static multi colors for a second then nothing.
I dropped my phone before and had to replace the lcd which due to Spyda's great walk thru was a breeze.
I purchased one and it didn't work, I just got the second one from what I thought was a more reputable source but it still is behaving the same. During start up the back light comes on and then I see a brief multi color static display then blackness.
This happens with both displays and including the original.
The funny thing is when I use the video out to my tv from the N95 I can see everything normally...I'm stumped....
I'm thinking of reinstalling the latest firmware for the usa which I am running now.
I'm using ATT with an unlocked N95 with a 4 gig card.

Any help is appreciated.

I think in all likelyhood it is the slide assembly at fault rather than the screen mate

I fixed..it??

Well I did end up pulling the screen out again after reinstalling the firmware with no results, after removing the screen I was at my wits end so I started poking around where the screen sits on the slider, not abusively but firmly, I was just thinking i had nothing to lose because I was ready to order another phone.( I need me phone) And then after reinstalling the screen I booted it up and somehow booted up with the NOKIA words first and then the handshake in all it's glorious color, I'm not sure what I did but it's working. I guess I have a few spare screens just in case **** happens again.

I am sure that in the tips threads you will find a video which shows the ribbon being removed/replaced.
It shows phone back and front being dismantled.
