Managed to get the firmware update (same firmware
but reinstalled) at another branch of the mobile
phone retailer but the thing still crashes so it leads
me to believe that it's a hardware problem.
The phone is beside me at the moment and as long as
I don't exercise the phone too much it works. That's
unsatisfactory of course because as soon as I try
GPS or WiFi or the camera or any other feature that
is not a basic function like calling it is unusable.
Got in contact with Nokia over the phone (landline,
not
N95!) last night and was promised a call
within twenty-four hours but I doubt whether that will
materialise due to it being a Saturday.
It looks as though it will be another call to Nokia
on Monday and possibly something more concrete.
Maybe that's a suitable word considering I have
what is almost a brick!
