NokiaParts would've been great, but his inbox is full so I take it he has left the boards a while ago.

It looks as if he leaves his inbox full to avoid members contacting him through this site rather than the website.

If he is getting the silver ones in stock in a few weeks, why not just wait and buy them. Spray they in black spray paint yourself ?

They need to be black so Nokia will look after me for the 12 months I have the phone.

I want to keep it is as I got it.

I don't think I'm giving you the correct information.

If anyone has pictures of the genuine screws on the N95 8GB for the front panel please upload a close up. The thread on those screws is far further apart as I can see. They look longer too.

The N95 8GB screws have a thin close thread and they are not that long. I think there is a difference from the N95-1 and -2. Can someone confirm this?

Ok I have went back into Micky's posts and found the original OEM set offered by this seller on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-GENUINE-NO...d=p3286.c0.m14

I hope this post gets thanked many times because what I'm about so say is bad news for all of the people ordering screws that are simply NOT OEM. Now when I speak here, I speak for the N95-2, we're dealing with a smilar phone people though it's not similar in every way.

These screws will thread your phone to pieces. They're self-tapping screws. I know previous users have been able to use non-OEM screws. Not all of us get the right fit. The screw should go RIGHT IN EASILY. Hardly any force needs to be used, that is how I found out.

Don't do it, buy genuine!

Now, over to my main issue.

I simply CANNOT get these GENUINE screws for the N95 8GB.

No matter where I look, I can't find someone willing to ship to Australia.

I did a litle bit of research and I have found out that the fascia screws on the N95-1 are COMPLETEY different to the N95-2. The top head of the screw covers a larger surface area. The N95-2 does not have a surface area this large and when you look at the screws SIDE by SIDE, they are different. I am talking about the silver ones sold on Accessory Link, and on most of the N95-1 videos...

Now, I have to get right on me knees and beg for someone to purchase the item from the seller as he does not ship to me, then I would have to get you to ship it to me. We will work out ALL of the postage costs and the payment will be made through paypal. You will not LOOSE any funds, I will tip you.

Here is what I have to use and so far, this is the ONLY seller over all online shops that ship the N95-2 YES, 2, not 1, screws.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-GENUINE-NO...d=p3286.c0.m14

I am ordering 3 sets of these, I cannot use my account as it will not allow me to purchase under my Australian address.

If ANYONE is ready, please, please and ****ing please, help me out.

Thanks,
Borg
