Broken - Keypad?

I went to sleep with a working phone, woke up not even 2 hours later, went to check it and for some reason none of the buttons are working. On the slide piece or the keypad. The only thing that seems to work is the on/off button on the top. Ive tried restarting it numerous times, taking the battery out etc, but none of these seem to work. My alarms are constantly going off, which i cant stop due to not being able to press buttons, and turning the phone off doesnt stop it either.
My phone was originally purchased August 07, however they replaced it Feb 08 due to a previous problem. Would this mean that I would have to pay for repairs as it is over the 1 year warranty of when I purchased it?
Any ideas what could be wrong? Any help will be appreciated

Your phone still should have a Nokia Warrenty on it. Check the warrenty sticky'd thread in the General Section.

Do any side buttons work, or is it just the key pads ?

May be worth taking the case etc off and checking the connection, by pressing the board directly.

All of the buttons, only the on/off button works. Was wondering if it could be a software issue as i recently used then Nokia Updater app, and the lights on the keys all still work fine.

No I didnt, the sleeping wasnt really necerssary, just added to the story
