it is a problem for me too. Some pages are jsut too large. I really wish the phone used the mem card for a cashe file. I set it to no pictures when the pages are too big, but I have not tried your issue.

This is a big problem, there shouldn't be any reason why we can't do this but we can't.
I hope Nokia make the next firmware update a good one, there are still many outstanding issues, but in the meantime, we just have to let them know: ideas@nokia.com

Dumb Question... You are clearing the Browser cache fairly often, aren't you?
It can collect a lot of data in a relatively short time otherwise... Especially if your browsing is image-intensive.
Can't help wondering, as I've never had this problem myself...

I never clear my cache.. I thought it was just stored on flash memory, not RAM? But I notice that if I hold down the menu button I can view the task manager which tells me the amount of RAM left and browsing pages it can get very low. Some web pages just crash, but I suppose they were never intended for mobile phones!
Perhaps the only solution is to lobby the *web sites* to consider some watered down versions.
How is the 'don't load images' option working? Does this render the webpage useless and unreadable or is it a minor thing and speeds things up considerably?

In this particular case, it makes no difference, I still see the 'out of memory' report, I'm afraid...
One thing I notice is that the site offers, for an additional fee, access to results on your phone, though it states that you can't input data from it. I'm wondering if the mobile-unfriendly nature of the main site is intentional, to generate revenue from the extra service provided?
I'd be curious to see how Opera handles it...
