Video playback - Washed out display after resume.

Hi Everyone,

I wonder if anyone can help with this problem.

Some background:
I have converted an avi file (about 1 hour 30 minutes long) to mp4 using the Nokia Video Manager.
I have transferred the mp4 to a SanDisk 2Gb card in the phone.
I can watch the video all the way through without any problems.

Problem:
If I pause the playback, change to another app, and then resume the playback then the display is "washed out" with the odd bit of "normal" colour appearing.
If I fastforward or rewind during playback then parts of the display corrupt and become washed out.

Does anyone know a solution to this?

Thanks

Colin

try using winavi MP4 converter to convert your files and see if that fixes the problem. Nokia video converter is pants in my opinion!

see this thread for a mini guide to using winavi MP4 converter:

Couldn't agree more. In fact, using the Nokia Video converter resulted in movies that froze at about 34 minutes if I recall correctly for a lot of people (including me!). I also use WinAVI MP4 converter now too. It's SUPER fast and flawless.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies, I've grabbed a trial version of WinAVI and I'll try it over the weekend.
