Phone won't even turn on!
I've just been using the USB cable to copy some photos over to my PC from my N95 and my phone switched off and now won't switch on again. I downloaded Truphone recently, not sure if this has something to do with it?
Any suggestions as to what the problem is and any solutions would be greatly received. Thanks

I can't believe I just did this! I decided to test the accuracy of what I wrote, before posting.
I'd read the following on the 'Net... Hard reset the N95 when turned off by holding down “3″, the “Green button” and “*” - Turn on and keep the keys held down until the phone restarts with a prompt to enter details... Reading that you kind of assume that the prompt mentioned is the standard one that says "To continue... enter code...", like every other hard-reset method that I've ever used... yes?
NO! Nothing of the sort... I held the buttons down as instructed and waited patiently for the prompt... The only prompt for details that I eventually saw was the one asking me to enter my country name!
I now have a factory-fresh phone! AARRGGHH!!

oh, some guy taught me that and he said it's different from pressing #7370# or whatever. he said it goes back to the original software of your phone not just the settings like #7370#. i didn't really get what he said but i tried that on my first phone and i didn't have any games or other apps like the setting wizard anymore. but with the #7370# i still have everything back.

Yeah, I've always used the *#7370# method to hard reset before but as the OP said they couldn't even turn the phone on, I thought I'd test the keys method before posting it...
BIG mistake... HUGE!
It has the same effect btw... Simply resets to factory condition, nothing special.

Hi Dazza,
Sorry to hear that you have experienced problems with Truphone on your N95. I would love to help you out!
Truphone is designed to connect, and stay connected, whenever you are in range on a known access point. This makes it easier, and saves lots of time, when you wish to make (or receive) a Truphone calls. Therefore the new Truphone application will auto switch between all known access points that you have specified....
However something appears to be wrong for yourself. Are you able to provide more detail as to the specific issues you are experiencing? If you prefer please send me an email to: support@truphone.com

Yours especially, no doubt... And I'm willing to bet that it has nothing to do with my sharing the information!
