Did the re-flash fix it? If not, it sounds like a faulty LCD connection... Has it been dropped?

To re-secure the LCD connection, see here.

Btw when i say black or dead screen .. theres still light going out ...is that still a loose or faulty LCD connection ...
oh and how come .. the screen shows on startup .. in the three positions (Keypad, normal and multimedia) ...if it were a loose connection .. woulden't it have acted differantly.....:S

Woohoo more news ... screen is upside down now ;) that definatly needs an NSC..2500kms away

To help check if it may be a screen-connection fault, output the display to a TV... And hope that the pic on the tv is OK!

Works like a charm ... **** i miss my screen ... u never know omething's value till u loose it ...

anywayd .. sometimes on startup .. the screen gives a bunch of coloured pixels ... and other time it gives a flash of the "Nokia" startup ... wtf is that on about :SS ... i think ... maybe its been exposed to the sun (although i had it covered by a black ..cover...
so im guessing the screen needs replacing eh?..
Please just confirm that .. cuz if theres no other soloutions ill have to send it for 3 months ... in another country
Thanks

The problem is i was indoors and it was night at that time... and i was usuing it normally for a while .. then suddenly the screen blacked out with low battery :S

If the TV-out pic is ok, there's a fair chance that it may just be the LCD connector-cable that's not making proper contact... Are you SURE that it hasn't been dropped recently?

Personally, I'd try re-seating the connection before doing anything else... This article will show you how to do it...

BTW... Can you enter your country in the 'Location' field in your Profile settings please?

Similar issue has happened to me, I have opted to send it to a service center since it is still under warranty.

Normally I'd agree with your plan but Romiokest's nearest NSC is in another country... BTW, has your phone been knocked or dropped at all? If not, this problem is starting to get a bit worrying!
