Post Tools > Settings = Memory?

Hi all..

I've had my N95 ever since it came out in Australia. However I've had my (un)fair share of bugs like everyone else.

Whenever I go into my settings for the phone I keep getting the "Memory is full please close some apps and try again" error message. However there are no programs running on the phone.

This happens even once I've rebooted the phone or taken the memory card out.

The settings application sits in the task bar and is unable to be closed at all, untill the phone is shutdown and rebooted again.

*#7370# = Hard reset - You will need to enter in the default security number; 12345

Yes, this will erase all removeable data, but ONLY on the phone memory - A simple backup through PC Suite will do the trick :D

Hate to tell you.. but it didn't work sorry :( As soon as I reinstalled the backup it decided that it didn't like it anymore and went back to the same error.

Go here, read what it says about factory reset and try that.

If that doesn't cure it, redo the hard reset but this time only restore your phonebook from PC-Suite, preferably nothing else, certainly not the Settings, or you will only be restoring the same fault.
