"Medium" font selected for standby screen instead of "Small"
Hello all, my active standby screen is a bit crowded due to the fact that all the text there (search, calendar, Wi-Fi scanning) are in "Medium" size.
All the letterings there are in BOLD and even though i change the font size to "small" in the settings. This makes my standby screen look crowded especially with the addition of the search app in the new firmware.
Is there anyway i can change it to take up less space?
Has anyone else faced this problem?

You could try changing to a smaller font
Or maybe just turning off active standby all together?
Menu -> Tools -> Settings -> General -> Personalisation -> Standby Mode -> Active Standby -> Off

Is there an easier way? I'm not very confident hacking my fonts. Has anyone even experienced what i'm going through?

That doesn't look like the default font, so that would probably explain the odd space consumption
I would go with changing the font on the phone, and as Mr G added, it really isn't as difficult as it sounds
Feel free to post on the thread I linked to if you have any problems

Yes MR.G,
i guess it is... I got my n95-1 from Malaysia's main Nokia headquarters so i guess it's as original and suited to this region as it can be. But I'm on firmware 20.0.015 now.
So is there any way i can reslove this besides changing the fonts like in the tutorial?
