What tape to use to fix slider?

I read the tutorial tip guide and it just says double sided tape. Is this like the regular invisible tape?

i used masking tape on mine and a friends. it works great. did them both about 2 months ago and they are still perfect.

need a good quality TX5 drive. i had to keep sharpening mine, it was a poor quality one from maplins. the ends rounded over very easily on the driver. I have heard people have ruined the screw heads so be careful.

good luck.

If you're fixing the loose slider, using the method outlined in the TIPS section, the adhesive tape should be of a material that isn't compressed once clamped down. I used double-sided adhesive tape with the thin paper backing left on one side, as I had some to hand at the time. Masking-tape is also suitable, normal transparent tape will work but may require several layers... and is less easily applied to the inside edge of the metal fixing-bracket.

Thanks guys; that should just be added to the TIPS section just for future reference. Do I need a T5 or T6?

Your wish is my command! ;)

For the fascia-plate screws you need a T5+, although a T5 will do the job, with care.
